GENERAL TRACK RULES

- Carpet Track -
1) No nitro powered vehicles will be permitted on the carpeted track.

2) Carpet tires are required.

- Nitros-

1) Due to lack of turnout,
we are NO LONGER running nitros indoors.

- All Drivers-
1) Using the facility
for tuning your vehicle
CONSTITUTES A TRACK FEE.

2) Radio can only be turned on if you have a frequency clip.
Take turns with the frequency clips and remember to return
the clip when you are done.

MARSHALING RULES

OBJECTIVE

1) To help maintain a clear raceway for drivers.

2) To assist vehicles that have become unable to move because
of a crash or spin.

3) To remove from the track, disabled vehicles that are unable to
continue because of mechanical/electrical problems.

4) If you are here to run you have an obligation to Marshal.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1) Our track has assigned positions, please find the marshaling position that corresponds to your transponder number and man it.

It is a Drivers responsibility to refrain from using the gas while upside down, if you feel it is to dangerous to pick up the vehicle with the wheels turning – do not do so, until the Driver stops the Wheels from spinning.

2) Immediately after your run is over, shut off your vehicle, and return your frequency clip to the board. Then move to your designated Marshaling position.

Please try to make sure you are not standing in the driver’s line of sight by blocking the view of a portion of the raceway.

3) STAY FOCUSED on your assigned section of the track. It is easy to get caught up in watching the race and miss getting someone going or clearing the track quickly in a crash.

4) FIRST vehicle to crash is the FIRST to be cleared to
leave, in multi-vehicle pileups.

5) BE IMPARTIAL - EVERY Driver/Car should be treated equally. (You do not reset a friend or family member's vehicle first if they were on the tail end of a crash.)

6) FOR SAFETY REASONS NEVER STEP INTO ONCOMING TRAFFIC to get a disabled car. These vehicles are traveling at a speed that could easily injure you if you are struck by one of them.

7) NEVER PUT A VEHICLE IN THE PATH OF ONCOMING TRAFFIC. The proper method is:

A) Wait until traffic has cleared and reset or remove the car.

B) OR Lift the car off the track to keep other cars from hitting it and then place it back in the track.

8) ALWAYS set the vehicle back on the track Going In the PROPER DRIVING DIRECTION!

DON'T just free it from the boards and allow the driver to make a large turn to get back in the right direction.

SET IT in a position that the driver can quickly re-enter the race on his own.

BE AWARE OF VEHICLES THAT HAVE JUMPED OVER THE BARRIERS!!!

* PUT THEM BACK on the section of track from where they left and NOT WHERE THEY LANDED.

9) If you are not able to Marshal the next run, it is your responsibility to find a replacement marshal.

*Restrict yourself from using inappropriate behavior. Abusive language is IN NO WAY, NO SHAPE and NO FORM acceptable.

* If the marshal does not see your vehicle, then you can get there attention, but in a proper manner WITHOUT abusive language. REMEMBER: TREAT PEOPLE THE SAME WAY YOU WANT TO BE TREATED.

10) DRIVERS, WATCH THE THROTTLE. A marshal does not have to pick up your car until your wheels are not spinning.

OTHER THOUGHTS

Motors get VERY HOT. Be cautious of moving parts

PLEASE MARSHAL THE SAME WAY YOU WANT TO BE MARSHALED.

ALSO DRIVERS, IF YOU DO NOT LIKE BEING MARSHALED, DO NOT CRASH IN THE FIRST PLACE.

PLEASE REMEMBER THE MOST IMPORTANT PART IS THAT WE ARE ALL HERE TO HAVE FUN!!!!
